Admission Policy / Recruitment Procedures
Who are we?
Drunken Guild (DRNK) is a very close-knit group of players. As such, we try to be selective when recruiting new members into the guild. We try to find players who are both skilled and will fit into the guild culture.
What do we look for?
We are looking for players who enjoy playing games for fun. We are not a supremely competitive guild. We are all mature (I use this term loosely) adults who understand that one cannot dedicate their entire day to gaming. We enjoy playing for what it is, a game. We are looking for event participation and players who enjoy having fun and are willing to work as a team.
Recruitment Process:
To begin applying to Drunken Guild you must contact an existing guild member. Please include alittle about yourself and at least one character name (or xbl or psn name). They will then forward the request to a guild officer who will contact you (usually within 24-48 hours) to let you know whether or not your application has been approved. If your application was declined you must wait for a period of 90 days before you can resubmit a new application for review. If approved, you will be given a temporary guild tag.
Once you receive the temporary guild tag you will be considered a “probationary” member of DRNK. At which point you will receive access to member boards on our forums. You will be on probation for a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of one month.
During the probation period, the permanent guild members and the officers will evaluate your skills, teamwork, common sense, attitude and your overall fit in the guild.
After your probationary period the officers will discuss the feedback received by the guild members. If we decide you are not a good fit, your application will be terminated. If we decide you fit in well, you will become a permanent member of the guild.
In some cases, we may feel that more time is required to get to know you better. At which point an officer will inform you that your probation period will be extended until we feel that we know you well enough to make an informed decision.
Probation periods will not be longer than two months. If no decision has been made at that point, your application will be terminated.
Please note that all probationary and permanent members of Drunken Guild are subject to our rules and regulations. Failure to comply with DRNK rules will lead to disciplinary action or termination of your membership.
